One of these restaurants is Good Earth. It is actually a chain so there are a couple of them located in town. They are not a strictly vegetarian restaurant, although their menu is designed with vegetarians and vegans in mind. One of the best things about Good Earth is the fact that they offer a lot of vegetarian alternatives for Breakfast. The present writer has found that breakfast is often times the hardest meal to order at restaurants. Luckily Good Earth has a variety of different pancakes, soy based sausages, and vegetarian omelets to choose from. A great Good Earth location can be found at 1901 West Highway 36 in Roseville Minnesota. The phone number is 651-636-0956.

One of the best things about the Twin cities is the super huge variety of Asian inspired restaurants. Asian food is a gold mine for vegetarians. The influence of Buddhism in many Asian cultures has inspired the cuisine. Although Buddhism does not strictly prohibit meat, many practitioners abstain from animal flesh. Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai are only a few examples of the many cultures of foods that offer a plethora of vegetarian options. Just about every Asian food restaurant in town will have at least 4 vegetarian dishes to choose from. Many of these restaurants can be found along University Avenue, in Uptown, and in Lower Town.
